Second Graders!

Our school is in the J.O.Combs Unified School District! We are in newly-named San Tan Valley, Arizona.

Welcome back Eagles!

Thank you to all the parents who came to Meet the Teacher Night and donated items from our class wish list!

Fit Kids is now being implemented in our school. All students will have 45 minutes of activity DAILY.

15 minutes of walking with Mrs. Stimatze and Ms. Dunker on the field from 11:45-12:00

15 minutes of free play recess

15 minutes of organized activity throughout the day (examples: Fitness Challenge, jumping jack spelling words, math fact relays, The Hokey Pokey...)

Lunch will now be 30 minutes so we slow down and digest our food. We can also relax and talk with friends.

Breakfast!

Without breakfast our stomachs growl and rumble.

When this happens our brains are in trouble.

So grab something healthy to eat before school.

Then the grumbling tummies won’t be so cruel.
