Please Note: 5 missed homeworks per quarter, will result in a Needs Improvement (N) on your child’s report card. This will disqualify your child from honor roll.
Agenda
Each second grader will be in charge of his/her own agenda on a daily basis. I will use this for correspondence with you throughout the week. Your child will write down his/her homework, spelling words and mark their behavior for that day.
Please check the agenda every afternoon and initial it. Students are expected to bring it back to school daily and have it on his/her desk at the beginning of the school day.
Bathroom Policy
Students will be given opportunities throughout the day for bathroom breaks, before school, during snack, exercise, lunch, and recess. Students needing to go more often, will sign out during class.
Water Bottles
We encourage each student to bring a reusable water bottle to class with his or her name on it in permanent marker. Bottles with sippers are best so we don’t have big spills. Water bottles may only contain water.
